CoventorWare is a finite element, multiphysics simulation platform for designing and optimizing microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) and microsensors. It lets engineers construct 3D device geometry from masks or imported CAD, apply process-aware parameters, and run coupled analyses that capture structural mechanics, electrostatics, piezoelectric effects, thermal behavior, and squeeze-film damping. MEMS-specific meshing helps model thin films, high-aspect-ratio structures, and narrow air gaps with accuracy. Built-in parametric sweeps, optimization, and sensitivity studies support rapid iteration and tolerance analysis, while reduced-order modeling enables export of compact models for system-level verification. Typical applications include accelerometers, gyroscopes, resonators, microphones, RF MEMS switches, and pressure sensors. CoventorWare is used in research and industry to predict performance before fabrication, shorten development cycles, and improve device robustness.
CoventorWare is developed by Coventor, Inc.. The most popular versions of this product among our users are: 10.0, 10.1, 2005.0, 2006.0 and 2008.0. The names of program executable files are cmd.exe, coventorStart.exe and CoventorWare 2008.exe.
